Inside the Norton 961 - BOOK

It looks like mine will arrive tomorrow. Which is a shame because I left for the Isle of Man today.
It would have been great to sit and read it at the spiritual home of Norton. (especially as the weather is due to deteriorate after Tuesday). Oh well, hey-ho, you cant have it all.

I appreciate this. Glad I could help. What it's all about right. Helping keep these bikes on the road.
Hello Again Richard , I love the book and put in a review for it. I also saw myself in there a few years younger . Glad to be part of it awesome . !

Hi guys. Been a while. I bought a 1969 Porsche 911 it's a field find so.... a rust bucket, needed everything. Been taking all of my time. I'm about half way done. I'm still riding my bike often. I have 21,000miles now.

For ever and day I've been asked to make my manuals into a physical book people can buy. Well.... here it is. I finally finished it. I don't yet have a price because I'm working it out with the printer. But before I get too far I wanted to know how many people are interested in this still? Should I go ahead and invest in it. I would sign them if you're interested.

The manuals will still be free. The difference between the book and the manuals isn't too much. But there is def. more info in the book. I've updated a few things I've since learned. Added some things that you may know depending when is the last time you communicated with me. I added all the engine mods we do to make the engine better.

In the book is a special thank you to ACCESS NORTON and COLORADO NORTON WORKS. These two have really helped spread the word and keep the bikes on the road. SO thank you for this.

Drop your comments here and as I get more info I'll add to the thread until the books are ready to ship.

Hi Richard ref book can do paypal don't think you have my email removed
I don’t think it’s a good idea to put your email here for public view. The spam bots will get it and you will get bombarded with spam. You should use the messaging system.

Also, lots of things going on with access Norton in the background and one of them is a page for Richard’s book.

Stay tuned,
Jerry

Hi Richard,
My book arrived on time in UK, Royal Mail delivered, what a fantastic piece of work it is,
Thanks again, a very satisfied customer.
Well thank you kindly. Once you get more time with it and of course hoping you're still satisfied.... :) Email me a picture of you with the book and your bike and a review and I will post it up.

THE NEW SHIPMENT HAS ARRIVED

The books are here and Inside the Norton 961 is officially back in stock and ready to ship. No preorder and no waiting. I shipped all 28 preorders yesterday, so those copies are now on their way.

For anyone familiar with my free workshop manuals, those manuals will remain available. Thank you to Jerry for continuing to host the free manuals here on Access Norton. The book grew from that work, so naturally there is some overlap, but it is not simply the same PDFs printed and bound.

It is a 344-page, full-colour book containing updated and expanded information, things Dad and I learned through many additional years of working on these motorcycles, the engine improvements we developed, much higher-resolution photography and the history behind the bikes.

It is part workshop guide, part Norton 961 history and part coffee-table book—except this is one you can actually use to rebuild an engine.

Thank you again to everyone who bought one of the first 50. The feedback and reviews have been fantastic, and I’m extremely proud of how the finished book turned out.

If you want me to write a message in the front cover, just add it to the notes at check out.
