Hi, what's the best way to join the 2 inner primary chaincase sealing discs, part # 06 0769 cheers David

Any sheet metal shop will have a spot welder, 10 minute job, just like OEM.

Or, if you have a MIG at home, and want to do it all yourself, drill 3, 3/16" holes in one side, assemble, plug weld.
 
I drilled 4 holes at 90 degrees, installed #4-40 pan head screws, nuts on outside with red Loctite, tightening just enough for a snug sliding fit. That way, I can renew the felt washer without any fuss.

BTW .... I don't know if Cdo discs are same as Atlas, but it is possible with Atlas discs, to bond an additional sealing washer to the inside of the inner primary cover, the object being to direct oil which may get behind the inside disc to flow fore and aft of the transmission shaft.
