Indicator Repeater?

Hello - here's a dumb one for you guys... There's those 3 lights on the top of the headlight assembly - According to the Riders Manual, thy are L-R, charge (works), "indicator repeater" (??), high beam (works).

My turn indicators work fine, but that middle light doesn't. Is that what the "indicator repeater" light should be working with? The turn flashers? Since it isn't working, but the flashers themselves are, might it be something as simple as a burnt out bulb in the indicator? I'll check, but just wondering if "indicator repeater" light might be for something else...

Anyway, thanks again...

Yes it should flash when the indicators are on, could be the bulb needs replacing or the earth path is duff.

Although just to clarify, the warning light is connected between the left and right indicator/turn signal/blinker circuits, so the warning light isn't wired directly to earth/ground.

It's a clever scheme, actually. The indicator's current path is through the blinkers that are not selected.

These bulbs are not that common but are reasonably easy to get in the UK you may have a problem where you are unless you have a specialist in classic bikes locally. It may not be the bulb sometimes the holders can get corroded, so it may be a bad contact, I assume that you will check first by trying one of the other two working status indicator lamps in that holder or suspect bulb in a working position(the heigh beam indicator is easier)

Easiest fix of all time - bulb wasn't seated... Now it blinks as it should... Thanks!
