indian repo tank?

any inputs on this would be appreciated

to replace the fiberglass one on my '70 commando

I've heard good and bad things about them. Not very consistent in the fit. The shop I use, said they tried a few, and there can be up to 1/2" difference in the mounting holes in the bottom of the tank. It's a gamble I think.

Buy from a reputable shop that carries them, if it's too far out of tolerances to fix you will hopefully be able to exchange it.

I've still not seen or compiled significant input regarding the Indian tanks vs the Pakistani ones...

I haven't even heard of anyone buying and installing one yet, unless I missed something. The few things I've heard have not been very positive, I doubt if you could return them to India or Pakistan? There was a thread a long time ago where some guy from that part of the world wanted one for a model, but I never heard any more from it? Anyone remember? Maybe I'm forgetting too much. I'll do a search.
