The issues caused by running pump E10 through my Amals have reached critical mass. I've dealt well enough with popping them off every 2 months on average to remove trash which I cannot see getting past my inline filters.... As soon as performance and starting goes to hell, and it pops and blubbers I clean them.... Okay, I'm good to that point.... It's just when some speck is missed and makes a beeline in right after putting it on the road that I crack..... This never happened in the old days when I could feed this fine machine properly.
Now for the question I've been pondering.... What does this race fuel octane boost stuff I've seen on offer at Summit and other places really work out like when mixed with the lower octane Ethanol-free pump gas I can purchase about 15 miles away?
