Notice there are two threads for each topic recently?

Yea i was just thinking people need to keep it all in the same post, otherwise you forget what they've covered in previous posts to help them troubleshoot the one your in! Phew!

Maybe the moderators could delete the "lesser" of the similarly titled threads?

It seems there are obviously significant replies in one of the two, and next to nothing in the other, in all 3 cases...

Certainly my post about custom bearings / cranks has very few replies, and the one I was directed to should remain.

As moderator, I would be reluctant to delete that kind of thing really, -especially if the post had received a reply, or replies before I saw it? And Unfortunately I'm not able to merge two or more posts together, only lock, split, delete or move a post to a different forum location.

I would certainly delete any duplicate posts if they hadn't received a reply.

I do agree that multiple posts about the same subject (from the same poster) can become difficult to follow, and I'm sure those posters are only trying to keep us all up to date, but it could actually be counter-productive for them if people are having trouble keeping track of events.

Therefore I would urge posters to try and keep everything to do with a particular subject together in a single post -if possible? So that we can all follow it in the correct sequence?

Thank you.
