+1 That's one of those anomalies of nature where the horn is somehow levitated in space, then the bike is built around it. A lot like the radio in my '73 Buick Riviera.
You'd be better off siting it somewhere which is accessible once the bikes finished and away from the wet and dirt. I've got two horns each mounted on the ignition coil brackets. Added benefit is the sound isn't muffled either.
I don't mind the horn being where it is, not that hard to get at but I fitted a second horn beside the battery, just in case one stopped working. Now sounds like a good 70"s car horn with high and low pitch.
