Back in September I was looking for a vintage Norton when I found a stray 2014 961 Commando Sport in a Ducati dealership in Dalles. 259 miles on the clock. The dealership owner was selling it for a friend. The owner is Jeff Nash who was a road racer for Ducati back in the '90's. Great guy with a killer vintage road racer collection. Took me through his Amazing motorcycle collection. Drove 1000 miles to bring that stray Norton home. Crapy weather this winter so I'm only at 700 miles. But it's still my F***kin Norton with 700 miles.

What about me?
5,000 km which I think equates to around 3,000 miles.
2014 commando sport.

Morning chaps, been viewing for a while and now joined. I am the very happy owner of 2017 961 SF single seat. Owned since March 2017 and now managed 804 miles, currently based in Scotland so weather has inhibited outings of late. Open pipes and decat fitted at first service, runs like a dream.

Hi guys, mine is a 2016 SF with 3855 miles on the clock which will hopefully be added to once spring/summer arrives. Have watched the threads on here for quite a while and am impressed the way things are going. I may have met up with a couple of you at the Norton Owners Club cafe racers meet at the Red Lion at Cassington (Oxford) in Sept 2017. Mine was the sport which was puking oil.... Anyways hope the mileage can be added.
Cheers 2 cups

We must have chatted then, I was there on my cafe racerized BMW R nine T. Two 961 riders (one from the smoke and one from the West if I recall correctly) and I were chewing the cud. Unfortunately you left a very positive impression on me, and now there’s one in my shed too!

And hopefully you will soon have it out of the shed and on the road, yes that was where we met up and I was a bit embarrassed about my oil leak which hopefully has been sorted by having the new oil pump fitted. Watch this space we Norton owners live in hope.
See you about when the weather breaks

Oh come on, I’ve pushed mine back and forth around the shed a few times now, you could at least put me down for a few yards !

OK , I have got you down for 1 mile .

68 miles now boyz, wahoo!

The cafe racer riding position is sure authentic (def need to carry ibuprofen)!!
