How to Post Photos?

Hi, new member, sorry about this. Want to post my photo-rich Intro post, tried to apply how-post-upload-photos-t8711.html, but when I check my post Preview it says
Image
rather than showing the picture. (I often see this in peoples posts).

Ive joined Photobucket and uploaded my pix: .png as well as .jpg. I get clicking the Img button on our forum to add the two img square bracket thingys into my post's text. Then I open the Photobucket page with my picture, but Im stuck at trying to select the link on the right side in the IMG box, so i can post that magic link between the two img square bracket thingys in my post.
In Firefox & IE I try to highlight the link text to select it, and also tried both right clk and left clk and then trying to paste between , but it doesnt seem to get selected or copied. So I copied the page url itself from the address bar at the top, like this
http://s1119.photobucket.com/user/reing ... sort=1&o=0
edited it back to the picture like this
http://s1119.photobucket.com/user/reing ... 2251c3.jpg
and pasted that into the middle of my post text, so its the same url preceded by the squarebracket img squarebracket, and ending with square bracket / img squarebracket, no spaces. Here it is:

Ha there's the fault. The Preview says Image rather than showing or using the whole link as described above. Dont know why.

Only difference i see from the explanations is, my link is from their user folder not from the albums
"Paste this ( which is the direct link between :

Thanks!

To expand on what LAB says: select the picture you want and look for the "img" block in PhotoBucket. Click it and if you look closely the word "copied" will flash. This puts it on your Clipboard. Now go to your post and put your cursor where you want the picture. Now click Paste or hit Cntrl V.
This should put the picture right where you want it.

jaydee75, thanks, this did it:
Left-click on that Photobucket "img" box address text block
see the "copied" flash
then paste directly into my new Forum Post,
Don't click or use the gray "Img" box just above the new Post area

btw several things were screwing it up, that i havent got to the bottom of
one was the Firefox browser Flashplayer plugin crashing, browser freezes, been happening on multiple sites on several PCs, havent yet found a Dr Google solution that works for this
another i havent figured at all, and it "may" be that turning off the Firefox Adblock plugin helped
i copied about 4 pix great, then the "copied" stopped happening
i had to sorta sneak up my mouse sideways real stealthy, tongue hard in left cheek, whatever

anyways, team effort, got there
