How Many 961 Owners

I am not sure if anyone can answer this but how many 961 owners are on this forum and how many are located in the UK.

Maybe the forum moderator can create a polling thread to poll members and answer you questions.

Well I have just over 100 people who have asked to be (and are) on my email list which is specific to the Norton 961 if that helps. In fact, I have to break up my emails into thirds as my provider assumes its SPAM.. lol....

... and as far as I know, I am the only Swiss forum user owning a 961 of about 80 owners of 961s in Switzerland.

I will be happy to put a database together with a sign up form so users who own 961 can register thier bikes (similar to the "Norton Commando" database listed in top menu above). Do you think that is a good idea?

I cannot allow any "typing in" as it is a database. It will be drop down menu's check boxes etc. For example for the bike color I need a list of colors that they come in that will appear in the drop down. I think I will take the info that you have provided (THANKS) and I will omit some and try to simplify it for now.

I will get started on it. One of my goals with the other database was so users could see f there is another Commando owner nearby. I will work on this. I should probably work on the other database some more too (for Classic Commando's) as I never really finished the search possibilities.

Sounds good. Colors I know of are blue, green, white, black, red, yellow, silver.

Do you mean Titanium Grey with "blue"? Or is blue an additional colour option?

The MICK edition is Blue so I assume you could get the same Blue. In fact I was told you can get any color you want on ordering if you are patient.

Okay, then you should add Grey to the list of colours...

What colour would my Dominator come under as it is black frame with alloy tank? Or is alloy going to be an option.

For the UK, if you look on 'howmanyleft.co.uk' there are a according to their data 232 Commando 961's registered in the UK, made up as follows :-
Sport-111 licensed, 11 sorn
SE - 3 licensed, 8 sorn
Café Racer - 44 licensed, 15 sorn
Dominator - 37 licensed, 3 sorn

Hope this is of some help to the original question and don't know if this info is correct but it may be a good indication.
