If you're British then it's a sparking plug.

Well I can only speak from personal experience
In over 5 decades I've never heard anyone say "sparking plugs"
I've only ever heard "sparkplugs"

...otherwise it would be a cranking shaft or a pushing rod!! 🤣
 
...how are we helping with removing a horn? ...and no, I don't mean a sharp rap with Matron's spoon!!
 
in the UK when referring to timber (lumber) sizing we say 4x2 in the states its 2x4 .....

Most if not all Triumph Parts Manuals call the Sparking Plugs and at least some of the workshop manuals do as well..
 
Not that I wouldn't be willing to do it, but I don't know if it would be worth the trouble of rebuilding the horn, but I may consider it. Thanks for the tip. I did check the supply wires to the horn and I do have voltage when the horn button is pushed.

I've even labeled my "Brummagem Screwdriver" that hangs on the wall ! (Also used in horn revitalization efforts)
