I use: Amazon product ASIN B01EG18SDEI want to fit a louder and more accessible horn. I have a steering damper fitted so space at the top of the down tubes is limited. Any suggestions on horn type and where to put it?
Easy enough to repair the original horn and also fit an extra horn under the seat (if you have a MK2).I want to fit a louder and more accessible horn. I have a steering damper fitted so space at the top of the down tubes is limited. Any suggestions on horn type and where to put it?
I have used a single low note in both my bikes and even a car with excellent results. Secret I believe is to use the included metal mounting strips and place so horn is not in contact with anything. The horns are tuned to resonate best on the strips, so do not bend/deform them.Never had much luck with a single fiamm horn. You need both a high and the low to get decent results.
these are loud , not too big , sound bomb .I have used a single low note in both my bikes and even a car with excellent results. As loud as anyone one could ever need.
I still have those horns. Pulled one out today and then put it backMike, why don't you just put 'em where you did on your Triumph?
