One of the forum members PM'ed me this week to ask about some tank repair and painting work i had done on my Mark 3 a while back, after several leaks appeared in the weeks/months after an accident.
I passed along the painter's contact info and a 5 star recommendation, and then realized the info might be helpful for others as well.
I have had bad experiences with bike/car painters in the past (long delays, etc.) but this guy was the noteworthy exception.
He was proactive - called me a couple of times during the repairs as he repeatedly pressure-tested the tank and found additional leaks, explained the issues, followed up, and overall provided excellent service. And the paint job looks great - nearly 5 years later!
I should have posted this long ago. Highly recommended (and he has a garage full of Nortons too, maybe he's a forum member?)
