Hi All, Trying to sort my 74 wiring out.The problem i'm having is the high beam indicator light only comes on when the headlight is on low beam the obvious action would be to switch the blue and white wires with the red and blue except that didn't work. Any suggestions? Hugh

The indicator wire simply taps into the high beam feed (blue/white) in the headlamp shell.

What type of headlamp unit/bulb/connector?
BPF, "H4", other?

When the bulb wiring is connected correctly then the high beam warning light coming on with low beam suggests the headlamp bulb has a bad earth/ground.

The headlamp bulb should have a main wire ground connection to the harness (red) and not the headlamp shell (unless there's also a connection to the harness ground wiring), so does it have a wire 'ground'?
