Maybe this is a cultural thing, but why the high bars? They look so uncomfortable and I can only imagine they make the bike much harder to ride. I have puzzled about this since first seeing them in the 1960s.

Its been found that gals are more attracted to guys that make flamboyant gestures with their arms when dancing and also more upright postures, so the style caught on. Silly boys choppers and ape hangers having nothing to do with road handling functions but Norton sure screwed up with that funny seat only one can ride at a time.

Btw when I throw down to ground I miss it but have hit it hard when outside forces or animals threw me bad.

I think the decapitated doll head glued to the head light, the prolific use of bailing wire, and the grease layer on everything, pretty much nullify any girl getting capability the high bars might have.
just my two cents. Ace bars and shiney s#it seems to work pretty well for me. Then again, im not in the ozarks. :roll:

P.S. Is that a brodie knob on the left handle bar?
