I found this on a local Auction site.....not every day you see Hi Rider bodywork for sale......

I've got the 6 inch headlight to complete the package. And a tank , side covers and sissy bar.

Years ago I was the mug somebody insisted have his Hi Rider seat .
Took twqo months to find some other sucker , who'd take it. For FREE .

couldnt throw it out of course .

I would have thought give-away to good home.
The tanks look good on a commando but they r just too small to go anywhere.
I had one fitted for a while but I live 2km from work. Still had to fill up once a week tho
 
found was probably not the right word......" I saw this on an auction"...... I'm not really do rag material.... :o
 
High Rider tank actually LOOKS good with a Corbin seat that also LOOKS good.

Neither are PRACTICAL.

How do these tanks attach underneath ?

Aren't they similar to the tanks on the Matchy scramblers ?
Or is the hi-rider tank special ?

Did they come with Norton badges like that - or is that a sticker ?
 
They attach exactly the same as a roadster tank however you need to use the rear strap off an interstate tank.

Send me your free seats! Hell, I have bought and sold at least 3 seats within the last few years.
 
I sold that black tank w/ gold pinstripes, along with a near-perfect seat, high-rise bars & complete sissy bar with clamps for nearly a grand to a VERY happy buyer who hadn't been able to find anything near as clean for anywhere near my asking price at the time. I wish I had a few more sets like those...

Ha Ha, don't bash on hi rider stuff, huh. Sounds like you sell it as fast as you get it. Worried about your market :D

Yes just jokes.
But seriously, why would you
take a bike that once setup properly should handle extremely well,
throw on a set of handlebars that cancel out that advantage,
put on a seat to draw everyone's attention to it,
then fit a fuel cell that doesn't hold enough juice to make a good getaway!!!
 
I had bought those seats to upgrade my bike. It came with a nice, but incorrect covered seat. I like my roadster, but I have a pure sickness that pulls me back to the High Rider.
