just made it up in autocad.. this is what i just made for my norton. if anyone has any good ideas to add to it, please let me know. if this works out nicely, then ill be open to making this for people at a very reasonable price.

i dont think i would charge more than 50 dollars for this, so if anyone is interested, let me know.

the nice thing about the fuse panel is it allows you to easily upgrade to additional items (fog lights, power outlet, anything), without tearing the harness apart. it also allows sections to be removed and replaced (i had my rear brake wires short out, which lead to me replacing my whole harness).

sorry for the size of the image.. if anyone knows how to resize in bbc code, then let me know and ill edit it!

heres my wiring diagram..

A few observations, your drawing shows both front or both rear flashers working together not left front and rear and right front and rear. Also no flasher relay shown. Headlamp high/low switch connections shows that the low beam still connected when switch is on high beam. Instrument lights will be on all the time the ACC/IGN is switched on.

lab

thanks.. i knew i missed a couple of things.. the harness is all together and is working properly.. i did the drawing from my notes and i know i missed a couple of things!

ill edit the drawing and edit my orig post

lab,

should be all set now..

i meant to keep the low and the high on at the same time. less components i have to install, and i dont plan on running my high beam on for long periods of time, so im not worried about things getting warm or the bulb blowing. i like the option of having the most light possible.

but thanks for pointing out my other errors!

just as a comparison and price point you might like to check Eurocar Color Wiring Diagrams on eBay.. try item number 8005507399

anyone feel like reviewing this?? ive just updated the drawing, and i think it works out quite well..

i converted to negative ground and im pretty sure ive sorted out the issues.

Sorry to drag this back from the dead, but i would like to see your diagram, but it looks like your image is not working anymore, any chance of reloading it?

Youre not dragging it back from the dead. IM DRAGGING IT BACK FROM THE DEAD. Haha

This was from a while ago. I am currently redoing the bike now, so I will be updating this too.

Do you still intend to supply these?

I can always make one up and print it for you :) Or give you a high res file and you can go to a FedEx office

If you give me what your bike has I can always make one up that fits your exact bike too

Once again....consider using some relays. Relays for headlights will increase voltage seen at bulb over running the current through the Lucas handlebar switches. Same can be true for electronic ignitions with the feed passing through the kill button.

Yup! This was an old drawing so I wasn't thinking "brightly". New one will be done once I get to that point.

Here's a drawing I used or my Audi. Relays make a WORLD of difference. Especially on an older Audi as all the voltage runs thru the switch. Makes em quite hot and unreliable!

Speaking of wiring harnesses, I can't remember who it was that told me there is a harness sold specificly for the Sparx three phase alternator & Reg /Rec system. Does anyone know anything about that & who it comes from? Sparx I assume?
