Help identify tanks

Got these two steel tanks, and I was wondering if I could get help identifying them. I bought both from different sellers saying they were from the factory, but since they both are slightly different, it makes me wonder if either is from the factory or a reproduction. The side profiles are different on both. The welds on the front and rear "notches" are different too. Thanks in advance.

Yes, they both appear to be genuine Commando 'Roadster' model tanks but from different production periods, the first one is the later steel type usually fitted to the '75 850 Mk3 Roadsters, the second is the type fitted '73-'74 (and some early '75, Mk3 models).

+1 on ...the first one. It looks a lot like the tanks from both my '75 MKIII's
 
Thanks for the replies guys, I'm feeling more warm and fuzzy about my purchases. Weird that the seams are different across years though.

I think the factory may have changed their fuel tank supplier around late '74 or early '75, probably done to save a few pennies per item, and that might account for the apparent differences in construction.
