I'm going the Western Slope Norton riders get together next month. Got a room booked because I just had my knee operated on and tent camping is out of the question. May not ride much but I enjoy the company and seeing what new goodies Matt has come up with.
I plan on stopping to see Linda Snow on the way and catch up with an old friend.

Had a great time, not a lot of rain just a bit up by Rico. Went by the BFR in the middle of Hwy 145. Great food and we sent Pete Bredemeier's ashes off in a propane cannon. What a way to go. First long trip on my Commando in several years, felt good to get out on the road again.

Linda Snow. Now there's a name I haven't heard in years. How is she getting along? She lived in this area for a few years.

Good to see a Norton making a road trip.
And as for the propane cannon, sounds like the perfect final bucket list item.

You roll guy. Wish I could handle the saddle for more than an hour at a time. Perhaps this next round of injections shall do me better.

She hasn't ridden in many years, still keeps tabs on the goings on of the INOA but stays out of the club politics. I keep in touch several times a week, sending emails and the like.

I think Novocain in the back side would help for me. Been home since Monday and my backside still hurts. Think it is the stock saddle.
Cheers

Great meeting you John, And it was nice to meet Pete's kids and awesome to watch them launch his ashes into the sky. We now live on Summit Ridge on the 184, I will always think of Pete when I pass Sam's place on my way down to Delores. What a beautiful place he has with those views, hope your ride home was nice. Chuck and Ann.

Our trip home was warm but uneventful. It was a pleasure meeting you and all the other Norton owners and riders at Sam's place.
It is always fun to stop at a filling station and have people come up and want to talk about the bike. Had 2 in Cuba NM and 2 in Cransfill Gap TX always talking about how great the bikes were. Good times.
