I need a new head for my 73 mk1850 and as I am 73 I don't need a snazzy all new improved one so where should I 3it I am in Australia

An alternative view might be that at 73 you don't have the time to muck about getting an old head in to useable shape!

It's only money.

Do you want a brand new head that is ready to go or one that you can recondition ?

I want a new one that won't leak oil. I don't need D shaped ports or bigger valves just a standard head. Thanks. Ian.

If you want a new one that doesn't leak oil (and isn't porous) you only have one choice. It comes with standard valve sizes. Better inlet ports and D exhaust ports do not cost you extra!
