I got one of those GOPRO HD helmet type cams that is 1080p quality and the thing is even water proof in it's supplied case. So far everytime I have taken a ride I did something wrong and got no vid or only a short amount. Only has two buttons to control everything so there is a learning curve :( . Check them out on Vimeo. Seems to be the best video quality there. I recorded my grandson doing something and then plugged it straight to the HDTV and was surprised how good the quality was. Like "looking out a window " clear  .

Just noting your learning curve I hope to better avoid now. I'm thinking of fairly cheap camera I can hook to side of helmet so its small display screen in somewhat in my line of vision to see what its recording and controls can be reached by feel - likely throttle hand. I like it that I can show special vistas off the road or peer down at stuff as its operating, but not too long I hope. Check out Key Chain camera under 20 bux that do a fine job just no display to guide ya. There are Key chain sites that review the better ones and how to hack em if into that.

I bought two of those keyfob micro-cams, they worked great but got stolen along with my laptop, digital camera, GPS, MP3 player and data stick with ALL of my personal, financial and password info and everything else related to my life (pix, business files, etc.)

Never replaced them, probably will before too long...

Oh man. What a pain ITA! Getting all the numbers fixed is such a drag let alone the loss of the toys.
