I did the same today, first ride on the Norton for a few weeks. Had sumped though so had to drain first. Fast flowing roads on a favourite 30 mile loop.

Chilly mind but the heated socks my daughter gave me for Christmas worked a treat😎

Luckily there was very little salt on the roads but a rinsed him off nevertheless.

I don’t use standard switchgear anymore. So they fit nicely.

Same wacky weather up here in Montana- rode Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! Plan to ride to work on New Year’s Eve barring any more snow….

Good for you to be able to live in Montana and ride anytime in the winter!

it's been a wild winter- we had a ton of snow that all melted off, and now it's been in the 50's for highs for weeks... prime afternoon ride time, as long as you're watching for ice in shady corners!

Tom,
Do you take advantage of heated gear? I use an electric vest and have always been a fan of how much difference it makes. If you are looking into a vest, I would stay away from the battery operated ones and go with the 12V models.
