I'm at the point where I have to wall off the horn, secure the battery box and hang the fender. I remember from my Mk III that the 1/4" bolts that hold the horn mount to the battery box then go on to secure the bottom most part of the fender The sequence IIRC is:
washers on bolts, bolts through horn mount, bolts sent though the battery box with the horn mount on the forward edge of the battery box, then more washers and nuts to secure the horn mount to the batttery box. Once accomplished then fit more washers and slid fender on to the bolt ends, more washers final nuts, then move up to the next mounting point.
Is this the correct sequence? are 1" bolts of adequet length?
