Hello everybody,

I found a handy tool for the socket head screws manifold to head.
It‘s a 1/4“ drive Torxx T40 screwdriver bit with a 6mm ring spanner.

My photo is of the outer screw but it makes the inner one easy too and saved me loads of time changing pilot jets 19 back to 17 as the 19 were not right for my machine. Can recommend 100%.

I just keep using the orginal allen key that came with the orginal took kit with my new Norton all them years ago, it works good with the two inside AH bolts, the allen key has its own special place on my tool board.

Is that just a shortened allen key? Not lucky enough to have acquired the original tool kit.

That's correct. The shorter end is about 50% of a normal allen so you can get it in the tight spot between the manifold flanges with the carb still bolted up, if necessary.
