Hi there
As i don't have any of the OE switch gear & don't particularly want to fit modern switch gear (like available from Flee bay, Holland Norton works Etc. i opted to buy a headlamp dip switch with horn button from RGM. ...I'm not fitting indicators
The challenge is that the switch has only four wires
Headlamp feed in
Dip headlamp out
Main beam headlamp out
Horn feed in
But there is no return wire to join the Purple/black wire down to the horn under the tank
The way in which the horn circuit is made it through the earthing of the case itself But i don't see how i can wire this in???... or am i missing something


Any advise would be appreciated or alternative switch arrangement that has 5 wire

The standard Commando horn circuit doesn't use an 'earth' switch, you'd either have to change the horn wiring, or fit a relay.

Can you recommends an alternative switch that utilised a wired feed, i don't see how a relay would work in this situation?
