Is that the '68 frame? Looks like it. You should throw it away before the neck breaks off and kills somebody! Just sayin', dude...There was quite the controversy recently about somebody selling one on Ebay. The guy was harrassed enough that he pulled it down. kinda surprised it hasn't come up here.

Nope, it's a '73 frame, or at least it's titled as such..

The plate on the steering neck says 73? Weird, so the extra tube under the backbone was cut out? That might scare me even more!

You interested in selling the tach drive? I'm looking for one. Prefer a brass one, but I'll take what I can get.

Hmmm...

Dad thinks we should hack off the welded-on hardtail, weld on a new rear loop, and install a new swingarm.

That could be interesting, I guess, although the ~6" of the main tube that was hacked off looks like crap as far as I'm concerned.

It might not be so bad if the rear wheel weren't so far back. The overall length of the bike annoys me for some reason.
