This really appeals to me as something I want to learn to do but pretty much already do as practice to see how competent that day before kicking up heels. I see they understand straight steering sharpens up the turns if ya may the bike sorta fall over on its own. Cone zig zags can cause little hi sides that lift tires off ground. Its real easy to fall down too : (

Interesting that the 250cc bikes (#2,3 and 4) are very close to the winning 600cc :!:

How well would a Commando do with its heavy crank, slow revving motor :?:

I hope and expect a fully linked hi CR big block lightened Cdo and Gravel trained pilot with duct taped major joints can wipe up the field of two wheel corner cripples. Crash cage is vital in the learning curves for me. There is a way to go at these tights and swirls by keeping the rear spun up, but boy howdy its scary commitment and took saving crashes to introduce me to that tight flight envelope.

Too much flywheel I think Jean. You need that motor to slow down quickly.
AC.

You also want it to rev very fast, not what a Norton is made for, it would probably do well for a dowager, but the whipper snappers would eat it for breakfast

Well I'm not exactly expert at this, too many down times to get much practice but boy howdy I've had to do it in short spurts to know exactly what yoose guys are mentioning. Also ya got to realize my first bike was a dang P!! winning dragster that could not lean so had to do parking lots to 4 lane intersections by point leap spin rear around then leap again. What I had in that dragster was power to weight and dual Amal response and torque that allowed me to set throttle for instant spefic rates of tire spin. It rev'd up so fast I suspect it had lighted crank.

To do these sharpies requires constant rear thrust or drag, If engine don't drag right then brakes can. I don't use much engine braking but when cruising. When I gots to slow up to make a turn the rear ain't up to it and hurts drive train/engine to strain it needlessly. i'll practice on soft pasture first, then THE Gravel, then the off road trials trails, then pavement should be a cake walk.

I think my Peel may have advantage to do burn out turns and trip outs into hi sides to cut corners into 90's segments as many as needed. Its as scary to me to do as anyone but dang it others do it so something I want to 'master' before I'm gone.

Ugh. I know better than to believe my behavior is any protection but from my own errors or excesses once seated on a motorcycle, even sitting still. I get my tires jerked about out from under me just heading for pavement. So I often and routinel tend to make tires jerk out from under me, both for recovery practice and in pissed off state to cause my own fuking crash instead of fate out the blue. You are deluding your selves on risking life and limb any time riding. I've saved about as many crashes as I've actually had by extreme stunt maneuvers with nothing to lose but a much harder crash by staying with bike instead of just going down. I had to develop reflex that burns my hand red hot to grab brake instead of nail throttle and steering out of crisis in fractions of a second. Leaves me trembling when just trying to get to work and back.

I already know Ms Peel can out hook anything seen in the video, by a large margin, having saved a rear de-rim tire that threw the rear out about my hip level going a bit over 50 mph to save tank slapping hi side heading into oncoming a off far edge of barely paved narrow lane. This requires riding into crash states though and a state of Devil May Care Commitment I'm still rather scared of entering on purpose. My throw your self at the ground and miss is not academic banter to me.

Anywho I want to upset modern motorcycle concepts and designers they are deluded on what makes a handy motorcycle going around turns fast and furious or tight and slow. If I ever get good enough Ms Peel has capacity to do a never attempted stunt, sideways air borne barrel roll, induced by sideway low side trip out by throttle then launch off the hi side rebound to land on tire and carry on. Done it 3/4's the way already accidentally... Any one who can handle cycles like these Gymkanha riders do has better chance of enjoying survival just tooling around with fate lurking 360', 24/7.
