Hi all,

Finally got around to joining this website. But some of you may know me already as a lifelong P11 owner and the current custodian of the championship Mike Patrick desert sled...P11/121013.

Looking forward to sharing knowledge, photos and camaraderie with the rest of you. This often misunderstood hybrid needs a site like this. So far, several other sites have tried and failed to generate a following. I'm hoping this one will be the winner.

For starters here's a link to my 2014 "Rally in the Cascades" photo album that should give you access to my many other bike related albums as well:
https://mymotolife.shutterfly.com/7195

I'd like to add some photos from my computer but I'm not sure how to do this on this site. Maybe someone will clue me in?

Anyway, all the best and feel free to get in touch.

C=ya,

Jerry Kaplan

Welcome to the forum!

A saw the photo of that bike, very nice.

Here's a thread about a close cousin to it: Ranger

Welcome Jerry to this Forum. It is a great site with very helpful and friendly owners unlike some others. It's good to have another hybrid member to share info.

Best regards, Paul.

I am also a P-11 enthusiast. I have a 67 P-11 dirt bike that is easy to start, fun to ride and pretty fast. You can see it as my avatar, it's #28. I had Jim Schmidt (Comoz) build me an all out 1007cc engine 95HP on the dyno that is looking for a home in a P-11 frame that I haven't yet found. It may end up in a Metisse frame if I can't find a decent P-11 frame. Of all the bikes I've owned or seen the P-11 is the best looking of all. With this new engine it should be fast, now I just have to work on the weight and handling.

K.

Super sweet P11. Looks like a blast with some extra HP from a breathed on motor. Enjoy, but don't let it hurt you.

C-ya, Jer
