Truely beautiful Paul. That color realy sets off the polishid aluminum & I love the silver on the tank/covers. I wish I had one 10th the energy you exhibit.
 
Thanx, guys. I sure have received boatloads of positive comments on this bike.

It has worked it's way into a spot where it will be one of the last to go when I'm unable to ride any more.
 
It is a sweet ride, definitely a keeper. Quite collectable too I'd think in it's own rite. At least I'd be trying to collect it if I had deep pockets.
 
My secret to collecting bikes over the years has been to buy inexpensive beaters and projects, then slowly fix them up doing most of the work myself.

I've never really had deep pockets since I graduated from high school and joined the Navy, with the exception of 6 years working for big contractors in the construction business; in that short span, I acquired a few real nice bikes, some of the parts for this bike, and squeezed in a season of vintage roadracing (including a record run on the Bonneville Salt Flats). The deep pockets dried up 4 years ago.
 
I kinda figured that GP, I meant I'd have to have deep pockets to talk you out of it.

Hope to get even better exposure once I've successfully completed track testing and detail work for proper close-up photography session.

The local University art gallery is considering having me show some of my bikes, drawings, designs and memorabilia in a sort of "one-man, mini Art of the Motorcycle" exhibit. The monoshock Nortons (and my "Dunstallized" Combat) figure to be the centerpieces.

That sounds great! You'll have to educate them on the relationships we develop with our much loved bikes after so many road trips.

I'm trying to think of some other points to make but my mind is blank at the moment.
