Evening All,
I´ve just ordered a pair of clocks for my norton (speed Hut),
And was wondering if anybody had any tips for the installation ?
i would like to keep it positive earth,ivé seen mention of relays etc ,but being
an electrickery fool i´m not sure how that works ?
Any help would be appreciated .
Thanks
Blaise

EDIT:

I just looked at their install instructions and I would probably simply wire red positive, black negative but I would contact them to be sure especially since there's an antenna involved and some chance a case may be internally grounded if not all plastic.

I doubt you need any kind of relay.

That´s what i thought as well .The clock (gauge) casings are neutral so its only earthed through the
wiring .
I had read a couple of earlier post´s mentioning relays ?
Thinking that a few people have now installed gps units ,has any one done this with the original + earth
or have they all converted to - earth
just looking for an idea .
i could just run it all seperate to the battery with a seperate switch ?
or would it work going through the ign system ?
Cheers

Does yours have lighting via inverter?

I still think it's best to call or email them.
