Hi ya , I also went for givi quick release tank bag , the 308 , another guy on here suggested using the triumph sprint 1050 kit , which I bought , but couldn't get bag to sit right on it , so had a 3mm alloy space ring made up. , this is fine now .works for me , Richard

I bought a second mounting kit, so now have a "horseshoe" above and below the plastic ring.
This spaces things higher and more rigidly locates the plastic ring, but i still have a washer or two below to get the bag safely clear of the tank.

I got my kit and made a spacer awhile back when I first read this thread but actually did a 900+ km trip yesterday with it fully loaded and worked a treat, thanks for the advice.

Gents, just to clarify, for a none Givi expert, is the ‘done thing’ the Givi 308 bag and Triumph Sprint 1050 fixing kit?

Is this the way to go?

Any suggestions for the best place to buy in UK?

Yes that bag is big enough, I think it's what that one is its 25 litre and called the extreme navigator, it has a seperate clear case for you phone or gps, also the kit is a BF02 see pic , you'll need either two kits or make up another spacer. I made a spacer out of teflon which was good for the paint and got some longer stainless screws from the local fastener shop the longer ones I had to cut a few mm off the short ones were off the shelf but it was an easy job all up.
