There doesn't seem to be any problem getting a copy of Roy Bacon's Norton Twin Restoration off the shelf in the UK at least as I think it may have been re-printed:

Thanks L.A.B.

I have seen this book at various sites. www.britishonly.com now has two versions. One that costs approximately $60 U.S. dollars, and a newer version, costing quite a bit more. Anyone know the difference between the two versions? I suspect it's the black and white photos that the site alludes too, but I haven't seen any version yet. If it's just a matter of shiny photos versus the typical more mundane prints, I'll opt for the latter if it saves me $50-60 bucks.

Many thanks for pointing me towards some helpful references.

It was just reprinted, only in the last couple of months. Just don't follow it 100%, all Roys books are suspect in a few area's but are right in just enough to fool you that they are 100% correct.

Hmmmm. The very definition of a politician. I'm on guard. Warning duly heeded.

Thanks Kommando.

Bike purchased. Hauled home Stateside from Canada (a goodly country). All is maybe okay. Will be converting to a single carb next week, improving the front brake, installing a Boyer ignition, ordering some better European style bars, updating the cables, etc., etc. Plenty to do!
