The adjusting mount was removed, so I can turn the box.
Yes it’s also at mine. 2Studs with nuts.
But I don’t understand what will the help to lift the subframe by levers?
Motor ist fixed by head steady this men motor is not moveable.
So by bending the sub frame I will have the space to remove gear box?
Thanks

Either remove the three engine to cradle bolts/studs and pull the cradle away from the engine or leave the top bolt in place and allow the engine and cradle to drop slightly so it pivots on the top bolt until the crankcase is clear of the gearbox opening.

Then un-fix it and it will be moveable.

So by bending the sub frame I will have the space to remove gear box?

There shouldn't be any need to BEND anything.

Hi LAB
Thank for reply. But at the Below the crankcase housing are no screws.
There are studs in that crank case.
Without slightly bending the subframe will not be removable.
So impossible not to bend the frame a bit?
Or I’m wrong
Thank you for kind help

I don't understand what you mean by "no screws below the crankcase"?
The cradle is attached to the crankcase by three fasteners (either bolts or studs?).

I think you have got this wrong somehow?

The only thing I can think you mean is that the cradle-to-crankcase fasteners are bolts [29 and 32] and would be the correct items according to the 850 parts diagram which could have the (3/8") bolt heads on the drive side so can't be extracted without removing the primary drive?

However, you seem to say they are studs?

So I made it on this way.

bike was fixed by frontwheel on a table jack
Work on the kick start side.
Remove the chain case outside, motor side, and remove the chain, alternator, clutch etc.
remove Kicker and I do also remove the outer cover of gear box.
Remove the screws of gear box
Remove the oil filter hoses
remove the gear box adjuster, very tricky disassembling of that screw
IMPORTANT Support the subframe by jack before disaasembling the motor bolts.
remove the 2 screws topp and middle of Motor
remove the nuts at the lower threaded pin.
push out by a drift punch
now you can lower the jack carefully.
If you can see that the crankshaft housing of motor released the cutout turn the gear CCW and then take out the gearbox
