Notici ng a little dribble of gear oil coming out the front side of casing at the rightmost bolt hole for the selector "knuckle". I recall when fitting new bushings on the two spindle holes there was no definitive depth to leave at the outer end for the seals to go in. My bolts and washers seems to be a little off the o rings. Seems even if in full compressing contact , there is still possiblity of oil seeping along bolt, past washer and out from under bolt head, no?

Is the dribble normal and just keep eye on level going forwards?

Thanks LAB, quite an informative post on this very issue.
Me thinks I will live with the dribble and make occasional level checks until I have the GB opened again one day.

The new ring is already x-ring...came with the complete set of seals/bearing/bushings from MH. I think the issue on my GB is not getting the bushing quite where it needed to be for the ring to protrude enough to make a good seal with the bolt washer. The MH video didn't call out a required gap, just to leave enough gap for the seal to fit and to adjust bushing placement if not enough. Problem is it's not possible to know for sure whats right until after completion and running the GB with fluid within....

the oring for this location is :
Transmission camplate and ratchet spindles 5/8"x3/32"(0.0938") : -112 . so to achieve some squish of the oring or xring you would need less than 3/32" space.
