Gearbox pointers....

Hope I'm not off topic. Had a problem shifting some years ago and a Forum member told me to make a couple reference marks next to the Gearshift Stop Plate and loosen the the 2 hex bolts and shift the plate and retighten. Install back on and see if it will shift into gear and lever returns. Worked for me.

The ends of the spring legs can be too long sometimes and interfere with the kickstart mech if I remember correctly, just trim to suit. Check the gear selector quadrant to camplate timing also. (oldbrits photo)
