Gearbox mounting torque

The workshop manual says the top gearbox bolt should be torqued to 70 ft lbs. No spec for the bottom one. I can only get to the upper with a spanner, a socket won't clear the gearbox shell. 70 ft lbs is a lot - how does one accomplish this?

"Real Tight" worked OK for me!
