Gearbox code

Can anybody tell me what the stamping on a Norton gearbox means. this particular unit has NA 6684. thanks in advance for any help

N is early AMC (post norton 57? ) gearbox. early kick start
NA is early 60's thru commando around 124xxx when they dropped code. these have later kick start style.
many smaller running changes through out series
