Gauge cups, MK3 style to 750 style.

A fellow forum member is was in need of a set of 750 cups for his project. So I have decided to sell him my set off of my Combat.
I acquired a set of the deep MK3 style ones in a package deal, and have had no luck selling them. So I chucked them up in the lathe and this ensued:




I could polish them, but I will powdercoat them gloss black to match my headlight ears.
I still need to weld the mounts in, hopefully I can do that tonight.

The weather is turning cold fast here, and this idea came about and was started in 2 days. At this rate this will be a very productive winter, for my Norton stuff at least.

Got them all welded up tonight, and all done except final finish.

I will never do this project again. Total crap cast aluminum. I was successful, but it took a lot of patience, which I don't have.

I still need to blast them and powder coat them.
