Hello Folks,
Once again it is time to blow the garage dust off those Norton's.
The Delaware Valley Norton Riders are hosting their annual gathering on Sunday, April 21st at 10AM.
A very good excuse to get the old iron out and cruise over to the Washington Crossiing State Park.
This park is located in the most historic Bucks County PA.
The entrance is on Rt 532 or just start following all the Nortons going in one direction.
Additional info is on their site, just google DVNR.
I am a non compensated unofficial enthusiast and have not been paid to post same.
Just would love to chat Norton's with you on Sunday.
See you there!

Thank you for posting this Marshall as I was wondering when it was being held this year. It is also the weekend before the Oley Antique motorcycle meet.
I attended the event in Washington's crossing last year although I did not ride the Commando there. I enjoyed it a lot.

Kingdadyo,
well I guess you will have to ride the commando this year.
It's always the week before Oley.
I go to that one too.
Great vintage bikes some I never heard of on display at Oley.

FLASH... Just got an e-mail this morning from the DVNR president Pat Dalosio. The DATE has been changed to April 28 not the 21st.

"DVNR's 20th Annual Gathering of the Nortons will be held Sunday April
28th, not Sunday April 21st as previously announced.

Just this week your DVNR executive team was able to confirm the Sunday
April 28th date with the Washington Crossing park officials.

Last month we contacted the park and found out that an Earth Day Fun Run
has been scheduled for April 21st see
http://www.active.com/running/washingto ... n-run-2013
so the park was not available for our use. (In your best Homer Simpson
voice say Stinking Tree Huggers)

After considering the options, your El Presidente made the executive
decision to book Sunday April 28th for the 20th Annual Gathering of the
Nortons. Now we need your help to get the word out. The DVNR website has
been updated and will soon include a link to a revised Gathering Flyer."

Russ,
thank you for posting the corrected date.
I'm glad they got it out in time or allot of motorcycles were about to converge on the tree people.
I have to try to get off from work now the 21st was perfect as it fell on a day off.
