Gathering of the Nortons change of venue

Some beautiful machines.
Totally missed this thread, so also missed the meet, F**K!
Have to pull my head out!

Yes, some rare ones really came out of the woodwork. Huge turn-out. Mine is the yellow Combat pictured and when I left it started first kick with one observer!

The other kinda cool bike that caught my attention was a Janus Gryffin 250. I had never heard of them before. Hand built, in Goshen, IN, 265 lbs and 70 mph - new-old bikes that sell for about $9K!

Thanks for sharing the pix. I ran into people I haven't seen in many years there.

Russ

I actually saw that first kick, and I was impressed. So, nicely done.

Mine was the Black Triton which was parked facing the wrong way. Figured it was half a Norton, and wanted to stand out.

I really like the old world looks on the Janus Halcyon 450, although I'd opt for a slimmer front tyre if I were to buy one.

Rickman Norton Commando Supercharged with a weber side draft carb, way cool, look at the detail. There are some very rare parts on that bike look closely.

oh, I looked very closely. I also asked the dude about 400 questions. Was a phenomenal bike, and started it up a few times with relative ease.
