Just had an enjoyable day out watching Gary Thwaite "wail" his commandos around Darly Moor, The Big 920 maney motor as some real stomp!.
My son in law was quite surprised to see Gaz blowing off a Big 1100 spondon Kwacker! ( 50 bhp more) as i was to see a 125cc honda blow away a few BSA Gold star's! Those little "pram "wheeled Honda RSW's where only 15mph slower on lap times.
Garys Big Commando is bolted straight in...no Iso's. but i recall it being a 90 degree crank. well his 750 is. I guess with the "Race" balance Tick over is un- important

Hi John,

the 750 is a 90 degree crank, but the big motor is a normal 360 one....both go quite well, he had fun with Cormac on the triple!!

Yes, the big Irish triple was quite a machine,it sounded well set up and the pilot was on form :!: Pity Chris our forum member did not make it. He was goiing to give my lansdowne dampers the berrie's..The only racer there with a kit was Bob Hensford with the Rocket Three.
