Hello Everyone,
I've torn my G15 Engine (Atlas 750) down 99% and need some help with the last 1%. I successfully split the case - the drive side popped right off. The issue I'm having now is I cannot for the life of me remove the crank from the other half of the case.
First i tried some hits with a wooden block / hammer - no dice. Then I heated the boss of the main bearing through the timing side and held the entire case in my hands as i hit the crank against a wooden block, no movement.
Am i doing something wrong / is there a better way to do this? I'm afraid to put some real force on the crank so i don't damage anything but i really don't know how else I'd do it.
FYI I'm going to be replacing the big end shells and getting the crank balanced regardless.
