I could model those provided you were able/willing/really interested in providing the necessary data to the necessary level of detail! Furthermore, if you purchase for my use, Virtual 4 Stroke and 4StHead, we can bring it to another level of information and enlightenment. I am aware of two fundamental approaches. If you are interested, PM me and I will explain and put it all in context. I see no point of showcasing the pounding sand in one's ear only to sadly see it dribble out the other.

Heh heh. I've had a recommendation for a package that is FREE if you accept the limitations that it can only be used for one cylinder. And apparently it is quite good. Since I already have data for several engines that I'm interested in, I'll politely decline your generous offer. I've already seen this data employed, but the package involved didn't seem up to the task, so we will try again.

This is the shortstroke rod for it - pre polishing...

Looks like the metal on top of the big end bearing might be a tad thin.

This is a rod out of a customer manx - and it still seems to be holding up, well !
Crack tested, no cracks.
The sleeve for the bigend bearing goes in there to reinforce it....

Your dark tinted glasses may be too dark ??
Rose tinted glasses may help....

Folks have wondered over the years why Nortons didn't ever really go to notably larger inlet valves ??

No room for them?

The hemisphere is way larger than they used, the outer parts are sitting idle.
And the exhaust valve is notably smaller in my car even.
Although a few decades later in design...

Nortons probably couldn't afford to change the casting patterns.
If they even had someone to do the basic re-designing ...

You can get larger valve(s) for Commandos too, inc getting them re-angled so they fit...

Ah, your reading comprehension skills leave much to be desired. I said could, not would. I knew this was going to trip you up. :D

We have to be a mind reader now, inc mind games ??? !!! ???
Beam me up Scotty....

For all the time and moaning you could have gotten a minimum wage job, bought the head, installed it, had it dynoed, and had the information you need.
O yea you don't want one.
Nevermind

All true unfortunately it has nothing to do with the individuals need for information.

I think it's rather fantastic that you can even get a new cylinder head for a machine that ended production 40 years ago. With all the crappy cracked RH 10 heads (thank God mine seems to be OK) there would be a bunch of dead motorcycles being parted out rather than still on the road, getting painted and shined up and receiving other mods and updates, all of which helps keep this hobby semi-affordable for more people. Is the FA head expensive? Undoubtedly. It's not being mass produced by a factory full of CNC machines and computer-savvy engineers, so it HAS to be pricey to exist. Does it improve performance? Almost assuredly, although like anything else, it requires other mods and updates to the engine for full potential to be realized. I'd imagine a Ron Wood or a Leo Goff could examine one and tell you how much work it would be to get a NOS head (if you could even find one) to perform on equal footing. Would dyno testing prove the FA's superiority? Mos likely, but to what end? A dick-waving contest? Please. Leave these to racers pushing the edge between powerful engine and hand grenade.
Harrop Engineering have machined many things for me over the years including castings. They have a lot of state of the art CNC machine tools and people able to use them. They are renowned in Australia for their work and their bills.

You get what you pay for.

NOS stock heads, just been a batch found this summer in the US and sold within a few hours, you need to have alerts on EBAY set to be in with a shout. Like most NOS much of it dose not fit, as buyer found to his cost, thankfully the modification needed was routine. Much like the NOS 750 barrels that have recently been sold in the UK, the tappet tunnels were undersize ready to be taken out to the correct size.

I always wonder when a batch of unfinished NOS stuff turns up. Why was it not finished? Why was it tossed aside? Had it failed some measurement or inspection? In other words, is it simply NOS scrap? Those are the questions my cynical mind asks...!

Ask Les.
