Fuel petcock measurement

Someone please give me the measurement between the petcocks on a stock Commando tank. Not center to center but the minimum measurement between the petcock bodies. I need it to work out the clearance for a Keihin carb cable setup.

Jim,
I got 5.94" on an original steel roadster tank and BAP taps minimum distance.
At the inboard threaded section it measures 6.250"
6.6" for Fiberglass Roadster with original taps.
those were the only tanks i had off the bikes in my stash.

6.08” on a combat with roadster tank and the petcocks shown in the pics
