Hello everyone
I’m going to swap out my injectors with a new set. I have the Bosch part number of 0-280-155-931. According to Erols master list of injectors, there might be 2 options for the same injector.
One with 28lbs/hr and one with 24lbs/hr.
Does anyone know what the required flow rate is for the 961?
Thanks
Shayne

RTFM... 273cc/min = 187g/min = 25lb/hr @ 3bar, which is the Bosch factory spec for this injector. So doing the math 27lb/hr at 3.5 bar (about +8.0%) which is what the fuel regulator is rated for in the 961. So, assuming your fuel pump, etc., is working. The manifold should have 3.5 bar, which is basically 51psi (or 50.80psi to be precise)

These are basically stock LS1 injectors, which started in the C5 Corvette(1997). That is to say, there are many aftermarket products available as well as Bosch. Again just goes to show that the 961 is 1990's tech.

Hi - quite a few years ago I played around with uprated injectors; I was going to fit K&N filters but after a dyno run they recommended against it as it could lean it out even more so I played around with some higher flow ones. Mine is a 2017 euro4 Omex. At lower rpm its running closed loop on the Lambda sensors but higher rpm its open loop so you benefit from bigger injectors. The ones I ended up with were some second hand eBay ones not sure but from a Volvo??? Anyway I got quite a healthy midrange gain from them. If you search through the forum you will find the dyno graphs I posted. Always recommend a Dyno run to check any gains and make sure you aren't leaning off with potential damage. These are the details I had at the time, I think I ended up using the middle ones;
Tried some cheap Chinese ones and they were terrible.

stock 0208 155 931 - 258cc/min
current 0208 155 831 - 315cc/min
new 0208 155 968 - 415cc/min

Thanks for the info. I think the seemingly more common units(according to the Erols chart), the 28lb/hr units would be the ones to get.

Ok. Thanks Tony. I have been searching around for that Bosch part number ‘d injector. Easier said than done. I can find the number but because there might be 2 versions, the sellers aren’t finding the appropriate flow numbers to match that particular one. I’ve reached to Olli to see if he can access them from where he is but havent heard back yet.

I would think Ollie can help you. Have you tried Stu ? I just bought mine from Amazon .
