Jim, this one looks cheaper than a Megasquirt and almost tailored for a Norton, happy hacking

Jim, if it performs anything like the hydraulic clutch, it will be GREAT.comnoz said:I am presently working on one. It has been a long and trying process. Jim

Yes, I understand the advantages of EFI.
But I understand how carbs work, can work on and repair them, and know that they (generally) don't fail catastrophically - they deteriorate over time if not maintained, but it's a slow process. A carb isn't going to up and strand you the way a failed black box will (not that that happens often - now, read my points vs EI thread (NONEXISTENT, it's a JOKE)).
And then there are Keihin FCRs....I'll shut up before someone thinks I have a financial interest in selling these - I don't - but they are just such awesome carbs!!!

I agree with the WHY comment though... I preffer the ability to get it home under it's own power or having to pull the carb bowl on the side of the rode to clean out some trash rather than have to get someone to bring a trailer... This is why I am pulling the Boyer stuff and going back with points... I can fix it and be back riding while others are still waiting on a ride...
