fuel filter

whats the best option for fuel filters? in-line filters? is there a part number that goes along with it?

Yes those Pingle fillters look like the best, Russel also makes a aloy case one too, be careful using those typical plastic ones, I am using a single Mikuni and set up my fuel lines the way Fred has them in the Old Britts pictures in thier fuel line section with one of those small Nylon ones just before the carb intake. After less then a year the plastic became so brittle that when I checked to make sure the hoses were tight which I do once in a while the tip broke off. I was at a friends shop so I was ok but if this happened out on a ride I would have been in trouble. No more plastic ones for me ever. I wish I could find small aloy ones with cleanable insides, the Pingles are cool but a bit big for most bike applications.
