Front fender reversible?

anyone know if the front fender can go on either way, or is there a specific front and back to the fit of it? I took care to reassemble mine the way it came off, and now that it's back on the bike i'm really taking note that there are a few bumps along the front edge, while the back looks mint, would love to swap it around so thought i was ask you good people before i take the time to find out on my own

There should be a round lip on the front edge. Rear should be just cut off. At least that's how mine is.

Then it has either been trimmed or it is not original.

upon further investigation i think it was trimmed in the front. There is a slight sharpness in spots on the front edge. probably why the front doesn't look so good, i'm picturing some damage to the front where the lip was, and it was trimmed off. Guess i'll find out the hard way if it fits backwards since i have no lip and i'll stick the ugly end in the back
