Freezing conditions in US

Here in East Texas, we think winter temperatures are 45F (7C) or less, Currently, temperatures are in the teens (minus 7 C), thus, for us, it is brutally cold. Nothing to do except stay indoors and feed the wood burning stove.Fortunately for me, I have about 7 acres of hardwood forest, so no shortage of wood.

3 below last night. 9 degrees in the sun now.
I was going to finally winterize my bike tomorrow until I found out the temps. were going to be in the mid 60's by Thursday....and stay dry...and my wife is leaving town.
Think I should hold off?

Winterized the bikes on Thursday- just in time .
Friday gave us temps in the low teens and winds in the mid twenties. Those that are knowledgeable about these things can calculate the wind chill factor - and in the true spirit of life at the beach three young men in my daughter’s crowd went surfing - no lie. Youth ….
