Fork seals

Hi
I notice some fork seals have a rubber lip at the bottom, to seal against the top bush, as opposed to the stock type that have only a metal lip, and require a paper gasket.
Does anyone know what type/brand the rubber lipped ones are, and where they can be sourced from?

Try Honda---450 I think---35mm fork tube----the od may need to be ground off a bit to fit---they are double lipped.

Any ideas?
The seal has a rubber flange (flat sealing area) at the bottom, and the paper gasket is not needed.

I wish I could answer, I too are interested in some answers. I have heard 35mm ID seals being used, I am told they seal fine, but reduce added stiction from a tight seal. Also there is the so called no-leak type, these are listed at 34.48mm x 47.70 these are designed to float on the OD in the seal cavity. I have tried these no-leaks on a Triumph a while back and they worked fine.

Ok, found my old notes---the Honda fork seal part number: 91255-KBH-003 this is the new part number.

the dimensions: 35mm x 48mm x 11mm

This is the seal I have been using since around 1987. They have worked just fine for me. The newer seals are all rubber around the OD so you must carefully sand down to fit the Norton fork leg. No big deal doing this. I don't use the paper gasket. The seals are double lipped. You do not have to screw the retainer down tight either. I also use fork gaiters to keep grit-bugs etc from prematurely wearing out the seals. I'm sure there are other seals out there that will also work as well, you just have to get one with the closest dimentions as the stock one.
